Waking up every morning at 5am to load the ovens with joints of meat ready for the days trading started to take its toll!. 

For 20 years we had been working in and managing various pubs and restaurants, for the main part it was great, we had lots of holidays on our own narrowboat and had always longed to live on the canals, we never thought it possible until one holiday we decided we just didn't want to return to the stress of managing pubs................. so we didn't! (well we went back to pack up).

That was it, we had left an industry that we had spent all our adult life working in, we moved onto the boat, sold the flash cars and most of our possessions, three months into the life change I got itchy feet and wanted something to do, we toyed with a few ideas about a business afloat but didn't know where to start.
We needed a small repair to our own cover, not knowing where to go to get it done I thought "I can do that", before we knew it we were repairing other boaters covers, the repairing went to cleaning covers which then transitioned into us making bespoke covers for fellow boaters.

we still offer a repair service but no longer clean covers as the new cover side of the business is our main focus.
